Majestic Murano glass chandelier, designed by Tomaso Buzzi for Venini, circa 1933.

Rare and precious example of Murano artisanal mastery, this chandelier showcases the complexity and refinement of its composition, featuring a multitude of unique decorative elements: gilded crystal palmettes; diffuser screen composed of large stylized and elongated leaves in green and clear glass with gold leaf applications; small gilded crystal flowers applied between the leaves; lower glass diffuser with reticello filigree, typical of Venini production; additional group of stylized leaves; cups and central rod cover in layered “alga” glass with gold leaf application.
